Giving Back to Bali

Our founders, John and Cynthia Hardy, have led the way for us from this perspective: they have based their work and lives here and shown their thankfulness by founding an international school of the highest caliber on Bali with fully twenty percent of the spaces reserved for Indonesian children. Our emphasis on ecological stewardship and entrepreneurial learning will, we feel, offer children from the local communities some of the most important tools available to preserve and enhance their island and their world as it faces a daunting array of challenges. But we need our generous friends and supporters to help us with this process. We need you to make it possible for deserving Indonesian children to experience the transformation that Green School offers. We need you to wake up early enough to get out in the road to nudge the blossom from the tree.

Remember that this is Bali, where everything, every conversation, every connection is personal. So if you choose to sponsor a scholarship, you will have the chance to meet the student you're helping and to follow his or her progress through school. This won't be someone you'll never see or know, but someone who will always look to you as a mentor and a guide. You will change his or her life. You will matter utterly.

Sponsor a Child in Bali

Green School is proud to demonstrate its support of Bali’s youth by offering a generous scholarship program for local children. The School will offer more than a dozen scholarships in its first year. This will enable Bali’s brightest, most creative, and most engaged students the chance to receive a world-class education for a minimal cost. We are now actively seeking scholarship students and sponsors for this program.
